What to expect
The number of treatments can vary depending on the nature of your symptoms and the general condition of your health. At the time of your initial evaluation, a treatment plan is made. The first appointment lasts approximately one hour which includes consultation and treatment. Follow-up sessions are 30-45 minutes. There are various treatment modalities which include: Electroacupuncture- the application of a small electrical current to the needles to facilitate faster healing. Auriculotherapy- acupuncture to the ear, as well as, the application of tiny pellets to specific acupoints on the ear. Thermal therapy- application of heat or cold. Cupping- application of small glass cups with vacuum to create suction along specific energy pathways. Tui-na- massage or muscle manipulation, Acupressure- application of pressure to acupoints without needles. Herbal prescriptions provide essential nutrients with tremendous healing and rejuvenating potential. Herbal prescriptions are of critical importance in the successful treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
